I Promise To Provide You With

The Best Care & Communication.

What do I need to provide at the initial consultation?

All animals need to be up to date on shots unless there are extenuating circumstances (if that’s the case, please discuss with me).

What kind of animals do you care for?

I care for most animals, as long as they don’t pose a danger to the pet sitter. I do not care for any animals that have a history of biting, fighting or attacking other animals or people. Check my services to see all that I offer!

I need a pet sitter today because my other sitter cancelled. Will you pet sit without a meet and greet?

Sorry, I require a meet and greet for the safety of everyone involved. I MUST first meet the pets before they are cared for.

I have never used an overnight pet sitter before; can you tell me a little bit about this service?

I offer a 24 hour overnight visit from 12 noon to 12 noon. Overnight visits give you peace of mind of knowing that your home is being looked after and your pets will be getting lots of extra attention. They sleep in their usual spots, even if that means in bed with me! That means you can be worry-free while you’re away.

What is your contact info?

How many hours a day will you be at my home?

I only leave to run errands such as going to the store or to do a drop in visit. I will never leave an animal longer than 6 consecutive hours.

What happens if I don’t leave enough food for my pets?

I will contact you and you can order/ have it shipped to the home I am caring for.

If my pet has an accident do you clean it up?

Yes. I will do my best to clean it using your supplies located under your sink.

Do you offer any sort of satisfaction guarantee?

I guarantee that your pets will be cared for just the way you specify every time! If you are not 100% satisfied with the service that was provided, I will be happy to address your concerns. Stay and Play Pet Sitting believes in lasting client relationships, so my service is only complete when you return home and are completely satisfied.

Can you let me know how my pets are doing while I’m away?

Of course! This is a part of the service that includes text updates, photos, and videos. If you wish to video chat with your pet, I can arrange that.

Do you board pets?

I do not board pets in my home. I do provide daily visits for your pets or I can stay overnight in your home.

I will customize a schedule to fit your pets needs. Your pets will be much happier in their own home stress-free! No travel trauma or exposure to diseases.

Will I receive a refund if I leave later than expected or return early?

No, please understand that I have made time for your visits and may have turned away others to allow time for your pets. I appreciate your understanding in this matter. There will be no refunds, only credits. Please see cancellation policy for more details.

Who Can Benefit From Stay and Play’s Pet Sitting?

  • Retired persons who want to travel, but their kids have moved out and don’t have anyone to watch their fur babies

  • Military persons who travel often to work and want to provide safety, stability, and consistency for pets

  • People who work long hours; I do not suggest leaving a dog in a crate more than 6 hours without a potty break and chance to stretch. Clients are too tired to walk the dog when they get home but their dog deserves the exercise to keep him happy and healthy!

  • People with short lunch breaks that don’t have time to rush home to care for their pets and eat lunch

  • A social butterfly that does not have time to stop at home between work, the gym, and evening plans
