Melinda Meltzer

Hi! My name is Melinda, CEO of Stay and Play Pet Sitting in Temecula, California. I am a graduate of Cal State Los Angeles Cum Laude with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Mt. San Antonio College with an Associates in Math and Science. I grew up with an array of different pets including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, mice, rabbits, and fish. I have been a professional pet sitter since 2014 and in the pet care industry since 2012. My roles include Companion Animal Specialist, Receptionist, Dog Walker, and Veterinary Assistant. I did pet sitting as a hobby while I worked as a Vet Tech Assistant, but wanted to provide more one-on-one personalized attention to the pets that needed it and the pet owners that desired it. So in April 2018 I decided to transition into a full-time traveling pet caretaker. My priorities are your pet’s mental and physical well-being and your exceeded expectations. I am always well-prepared with a pet first aid kit, homemade treats without preservatives, and an enthusiasm for mental stimulation through play for your furry family members. I love learning about all aspects of pet care such as natural healing remedies, animal behavior, and pet psychology. I consider myself a pet care expert and enjoy doing research for my client family to provide them with thorough answers and solutions to common pet care questions. Because I empathize with my clients, I go above and beyond to assure the comfort of their pets and to provide peace of mind. Many people have remarked that I am “more than just a pet sitter.”
