What we stand for:

Our Professional Pet Care Specialists undergo extensive screening and processes before they are considered part of our team. We look for stellar references, a clean background check, a love for all animals, pet care experience, reliability, and a great character and moral compass.

Our sitters also participate in multiple interviews and a shadowing orientation on client directives before they receive their first solo assignment. We also require CPR & First Aid certification and signing the policies, procedures, and code of ethics in our employee handbook. There is no such thing as being too thorough, and YOU and your pets can never be too happy!

Our team members have years of personal or professional pet experience and great people skills to accommodate every client’s needs!

We will engage, play with and spend time interacting with and monitoring your pets to ensure their safety and happiness while you are away and we are with them.

I am originally from Decatur, GA.

Growing up I had a Husky named Tanya, that lived to be almost 15. She was my dog that I looked after, walked all the time & cared for. I also had several cats, mice, gerbils, turtles & even snakes.

When I moved to NJ, I got another beautiful Husky named Cheyanne. She also lived to be almost 15. Today I still have my boy, black cat, Raven, whose birthday is on Halloween.

I love to take care of my neighbor’s pets when they go on vacation.

All my pets are my fur babies, so I understand the connection you have with your pets.

I currently live in Lake Elsinore. It would be an honor to meet you and your fur babies & take care of them while you are out of town.

I also understand the importance of keeping your home secure while you are away, giving you peace of mind.

Hi!!  My name is Katherine and I'm a pet sitter at Stay and Play Pet Sitting. I live in Murrieta.

I grew up on a farm in Eastern Idaho where I learned to take care of many different animals including horses, cows, and pigs. We always had cats and dogs and my family always called me a true animal lover. So it's no surprise that I started my own pet sitting and dog walking business. I thoroughly enjoyed it for about 12 years. I had many great 4 and 2 legged clients. I am currently owned by 3 Basenjis (dogs). I love doing many activities with them - scent work, lure coursing and agility. I enjoy getting involved with the community and volunteering at the local shelter and rescue groups. I was a member of the local kennel club in Idaho where I taught classes and helped with matches and shows.

I pride myself with animal knowledge and attention to detail. I will treat your beloved pets and home as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting you!!
